Channeling negative energy
"It's hard to be my true self when I know I have to wake up in the morning."
I said this in a recent AIM conversation to one of my xanga friends. Honestly, I like to say what I think. And I often think very bitter and pessimistic things. I've learned over time, though, that you just can't blast away with negativity all the time. So I've found a way to channel that energy.
Proverbs 27:17 Iron sharpeneth iron, so must a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.
If you hang around with me, I will sharpen you. But I know I just can't all out wallop people with pessimism when I have to wake up the next day and face the consequences of what I say and do.
That's just the way I made myself.
