Name this mystery species!

Image hosting by Photobucket

So my friend won this stuffed animal out of a claw machine. We spent some time thinking about what it could be and we still haven't come to a consensus. So, I ask you, my fine friends, what in the world could this mystery species of stuffed animal could be?

More pics of mystery species can be found here.

I was glad to see you at RUF, although I didn't manage to drag myself over there to say hello. I hope you weren't just thoroughly shocked by the sermon, however. John is crazy like that ;).

I've been to RUF before, so John's sermon didn't thoroughly shock me. Just a bit scandalous, that's all. ^_^

That would explain the spots...

It's an elusive midget giraffe.

That was my theory, but it's neck seems to be too short for that.

Isn't it obvious? It's a chocolate chip horse!

It also looks like "The Cheat"... only more dinosaur like.

This makes me want to say that "The Cheat" and this "mystery species" had some common ancestors way back when.

I guess that could work if chocolate chip horses had such noticeable spots.

It's a spotted dog.
This breed is very common in the nothern parts of Iceland, where it's used for hunting squirrels.

Really? Then perhaps you could direct me to a picture of one that looks similar to this stuffed animal? I keep getting this desert when I type in "spotted dog" in Google's image search.

Hmmmm. That could be because I just invented it. Google has such a hard time to keep up with that sort of thing.

Awwww, I missed the smiley at the end of your first comment. ^_^

Definitely some sort of canine. Perhaps one with smallpox.

A canine with small pox...that's just insane. :)
