I'd like to be a neutral-neutral paladin...

If I could choose one character that wouldn't make sense in a Dungeons and Dragons atmosphere, it would be a neutral-neutral paladin (paladins are always seem to be good, lawful people rather than neutral).

I know this thanks to this quiz that was brought to my attention by correspondguy.

I'm not sure what you're asking. I don't play DnD anymore, but I was just saying that if I did I'd pick something that wouldn't make sense (like a neutral-neutral paladin).

A True Neutral Paladin would be amazingly hard to play, since the entire concept of a Paladin is to be fervently devoted to a particular cause, verging on extremism. Under 3.5, traditional Paladins are mandatorily Lawful Good, but the Unearthed Arcana book offers Chaotic Good (Paladin of Freedom), Lawful Evil (Paladin of... Destruction, I think) and Chaotic Evil (Paladin of Slaughter) variants. To be a Neutral Paladin you'd need to be fervently commited to neutrality, as opposed to most neutrals who are just regular people who aren't evil but sometimes selfish, and do good things only when it isn't too much trouble (your regular folks). That and most of your Paladin abilities would need to be completely reworked, since many of them are alignment-based.

That being said, I find neutral characters to be amazingly boring. Most of my characters are female, chaotic, and willing to use their sexuality to an advantage whenever possible.

Yeah, that's why a neutral-neutral paladin wouldn't make sense.

When I did play DnD, I liked to play male, lawful characters who naively believed in the laws of society.
