Decent list, and I agree with a lot of it. Interesting, though, that most people I know who use AVG also use ZoneAlarm, and that isn't even mentioned as a secondary choice. Ah well.

I've personally never been big on 7-Zip since the UI displeases me, but a lot of people like it. *shrug*

I use avast on my personal laptop. It's worked well so far. Right now I'm trying out Chrome, and while it's not better than Firefox it doesn't seem any worse either.
