Four hours of prayer

This morning I went to a prayer workshop for my Masterlife Bible study. Four hours of prayer. It sounds ridiculous, but it wasn't so hard in the end. I realized that I have a lot to be thankful for. Just from blogging alone I've picked up many prayer requests in my prayer journal. It puts a nice perspective on things.

After we finished up, we went to Coney Islander for lunch. I had coneys for the first time today (I've eaten hot dogs, but not coneys per se). I almost made the mistake of not getting the chili with the coney, but my friends convinced me otherwise. Wow, that was some good stuff.

Amen to that! I was feeling pretty down about med school, family issues, and whatnot. Then I decided to start a prayer journal (stole the idea from you!), and realized I have a LOT to be thankful for! Anyway, hope you're having a good weekend before finals week. :)

I'd prefer you to say "your prayer journal inspired me to keep a prayer journal." Cause it ain't stealing. ;)

Hope your weekend was good as mine (I'm spending mine wriitng one of my twenty page essays).
