I apologize for this post, as it seemed hateful of a specific instance (even though I did not mention the specific instance in the post, as I was addressing the general annoyance).
Honey, I just went and read the comments...it doesn't seem like anyone was against you at all. It came off as sarcasm, tinged with reality...at least to me!
Well, it could be seen that I was trying to get the certain secret out of that person rather than commenting on the general annoyance of that type of thing.
I completely understand your compulsion to apologize, except that it's not really something you should have to do. Still, it's nice of you. Oh, and I probably would have ended up doing the same thing.
