Trouble concentrating

I've been have trouble concentrating recently. I've had plenty of time to do my work, but all I do is procrastinate. I procrastinate to the point where I don't feel like doing it.

For example, I should have done something productive today. But all I could do was stare at my electronics problems and pretend to understand them. I have an electronics test this Friday, which will be the hardest of my three tests coming this week. I know it's important but I'm too lazy to care.

It's funny, though. I try to tell people that I'm a lazy person and few people actually believe me. My parents beat me down with doing things the right way, which meant getting them done on time and correct. I have yet to learn how to press discipline on myself.

I was wondering, what's the best way to get motivated to work? Or is that just something that I'll get a click of insight on?

If you figure that one out, let me know.

Someone told me that everyone has this problem. Apparently, we just have to deal with it :(.

Sharing your amazing procrastinating powers (sound dirty somehow) I always get concentrations problems when I'm afraid I'll fail. Making it O'K for me to fail and forgiving me beforehand strangly motivates me to try anyway and I start studying (and sometimes even pass the exam) It's to do whith fear of failure for me. Not saying that's the same for you though but it might work.

For a pessimist like me, this might actually work.
