Trouble concentrating
Sep. 26th, 2004 12:04 amI've been have trouble concentrating recently. I've had plenty of time to do my work, but all I do is procrastinate. I procrastinate to the point where I don't feel like doing it.
For example, I should have done something productive today. But all I could do was stare at my electronics problems and pretend to understand them. I have an electronics test this Friday, which will be the hardest of my three tests coming this week. I know it's important but I'm too lazy to care.
It's funny, though. I try to tell people that I'm a lazy person and few people actually believe me. My parents beat me down with doing things the right way, which meant getting them done on time and correct. I have yet to learn how to press discipline on myself.
I was wondering, what's the best way to get motivated to work? Or is that just something that I'll get a click of insight on?
