You won't know unless you're my family. I suppose I get amused when I get ticked off so I start ripping you mercilessly, tearing your flesh with sarcasm. Oh, and when I've blown my very, very long fuse, I will explode by yelling my voice in a suprisingly loud manner.
How should I behave around you if you are angry?
Cry. It'll take the wind out of my facetious sails.
How do you want me to behave when you are hurting emotionally? How is it best to comfort you?
Listen to me ramble when I am talking. I will eventually get to what's bothering me but you have to put up with me rambling for an hour before I get to what is pissing me off.
Are there things we should not discuss?
Whatever you do not want to discuss.
How should I treat you if you are physically ill?
Free food. Especially homebaked chocolate chip cookies or Baptist casserole. Mmmmmm, Baptist casserole, with all of its vices. Also, let me sleep a lot.
What makes you happy, that's in my power to grant as a friend?
Comment on my journal more. Watch an anime or movie with me. Talk to me over the phone.
How would you like us to recognize your birthday?
A cookie cake with lots of chocolate icing and many gift certificates to gaming stores and/or bookstores.
Are there any standing categories of presents that would be appropriate or unwelcome?
Gag gifts.
Are there times of the year that are difficult for you? Please explain if you are comfortable.
April Fool's. All I will mention is one incident as a kid is burned into my memory and I will never tell that story on my blog. Ever.
Who are the most important people in your life to whom we should defer when making plans on your behalf?
Me. First, I like controlling my own destiny. So I absolutely hate surprise gifts and I especially despise surprise parties. There's a dark site to surprise parties, usually in the fact that everyone seems to have "forgotten" your birthday. Not funny, guys. Second, I am a very difficult person to shop for as I rarely let anyone know what I am truly thinking. Just give me a price range on gifts that you can afford and I will tell you what I want. That'll make both of us happier. ^_^
