first: you're lucky that your parents supported and suggested music. I didn't. My parents, who are otherwise good people, were terribly afraid of their children becoming musicians. So I didn't get a lot of help. I did it anyhow.
Second, if you see me and ask me to play the piano, you will be agonizingly sorry afterwards. There is a reason why I play the guitar.
