Two Cent Thoughts, 11-18-05

Oh, I've forgotten to explain why I changed the name of my journal to Two Cent Thoughts. Well, I ask you this, how much is an opinion worth?

All my Tulsa friends are going back home this weekend as we get an entire week of for Thanksgiving. However, we currently do not have a fall break so it is a tradeoff.

Apparently, the first snow of the season has arrived. I love the snow, blanketing everything in white. Everything looks so pure.

Caught up with some old friends. Lucky Andy actually got two of those 2HG Magic beanie hats and he's going to give me one. And I need to watch the anime Elfen Lied to understand it.

I also caught up with Kevano. We could not recognize each other over the phone. His voice has really changed from high school. He told me that while the pastor of his small home church went on vacation, the people of the church sold it. Brutal.

Someone just described me as one who just looked into a mirror. I pray that I don't forgot what I saw.

I'm still debating between Palmer versus the Colts or Warner versus the Rams. Neither is a particularly great matchup, although right now I'm leaning towards Palmer just on feel.

Lunch with the red headed Brigid has been postponed as her little sister has a soccer tournament this weekend in Tulsa. She promises to drop by Ft. Smith Sunday or Monday.

The Arkansas Supreme Court is probably going to declare the public schooling system unconstitutional...again. The simple thing would be to consolidate school districts, but that would put quite a few people out of a job. And that means no re-election for state legislators. And so the fight continues. Sadly.
