TU Cent Thoughts, Ides of March 2006
Mar. 15th, 2006 12:31 pmThanks cell phone
The backlight on my cell phone went out a month ago, yet it randomly came back on again today. Must be a good omen!
Running hurts
My body screamed "BLOODY MURDER!" when I went for a ten minute jog yesterday. I suppose I should do more than sit in front of a computer screen all day long.
Event/Observation #3
I helped my dad clear out some brush and other tree trimmings yesterday. Monotonous yay for yardwork.
Verse of the Day
"The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth."
~John 1:14
Convos of the Day
D2: Why didn't you just attack for the win?
Chris: Because I'm intimidated by you.
D2: What?
Chris: Dude, you never look happy when you're playing Magic. It intimidates me.
Quote of the Day
"Jesus died too soon. He would have repudiated His doctrine if He had lived to my age."
~Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche
Link of the Day
Sony delays Playstation 3. Sadness. :(
Sports Report
USA is in danger in being eliminated from the WBC. Of all things, we need Korea to beat Japan. So, uh, let's go Korea?
Magic drafting
In Guildpact-only drafts, facing double Hissing Miasma when you're playing Gruul is just plain evil.
The miracle of sleep
I feel, like, 10 times better when I can get 10 straight hours of interrupted sleep. Thank the good Lord for spring break! ^_^

Date: 2006-03-15 07:01 pm (UTC)I can't say that is too surprising. While I commend their decision to enable support for blue-laser DVD playing, they run the danger of tying their console to the 21st century's beta/vhs war.
And the estimated cost for PS3, at a whopping $900, is going to keep investors jittery. Console manufacturers always sell at a loss, but they're losing almost 50% on each unit sold.

Their insistence on putting everything under the sun in the PS3 reminds me of the car Homer Simpson designed.

This tends to piss some people off, but I find it easier than telling them a lie. I can remember the truth a heck of a lot easier than a lie.

Unless something good is on tv.
