I know you have been struggling with your faith lately, which means you see some flaws in Christian teachings. I find it logically impossible for God to be simultaneously both omniscient and omnipotent. If God is omniscient, then he knows everything he is going to do. If he already knows everything he is going to do, he is powerless to change what he is going to do. For example, if he foresaw himself sending angels to destroy a city, he would not be able to make any other choice, because making any other choice would make his foresight incorrect.
Omniscience defeats omnipotence, or omnipotence defeats omniscience. The two just don't work together.
