So over dinner I was watching the CBS Evening News, where they had a segment on Old Grandma Hardcore. No, it's not that kind of hardcore. It's actually a hardcore gamer grandma (yes, you read that right). She plays games, a lot of games. MTV even has a web show featuring her.

Memorably quote from the Evening News, as provided by her grandson:
"If you meet her at the supermarket, she's really nice and polite. But if you give her a video game controller, she'll kill anything in front of her."

All the news shows tonight had a feature on Microsoft's next generation console, the XBox 360. Microsoft doesn't just want the 360 to be your gaming console, it wants to take over your living room. Just more proof that Bill Gates is indeed trying to complete his quest of world domination. The final battle will be Microsoft vs. Wal Mart.

Lucky Andy came home tonight and dropped by. We played some HALO with anime Mike. Andy also gave me one of those 2hg beanie hats, which I will use for the coming winter.

I imagine they mean "without sedatives" when they say "natural." It makes as much sense as calling some lettuce "organic."

I do every night ....... and it works.

Sometimes during what I call my "formal" prayertime, I wear them then too. Helps dramatically with all those little tiny otherwise "unheard" distractions.
