I like the fact that you're willing to stand up for what you believe in and stay in your church. Most people would just leave but you know better than that.
Hmmm...you should tell me why you like me/decided to add me on LJ...considering dont even know eachothers first names...and i will do the same on my lj.
I like your icon. I also love your journal name and subtitle, and I knew someone who would dare use that would be able to help me in my quest (refer to my user info if you don't know what I'm talking about).
Also, in life, it pays off every so often to take a chance and show initiative. My first name is Daniel, by the way. I go by the nickname of D2, though, which is a story in itself that I haven't even told on my LJ yet.
And hey, you like comments. I like comments. It's a match made in heaven. ;)
Actually, I wasn't going to comment, because of the Elisabeth Kubler-Ross one. But, I figured you might not still feel that way about me, or maybe you'd forgotten, or maybe I'd get another one just as good.
I like your strength in resolving doubts about your faith. And I'm not sure if I ever told you this, but I absolutely loved the climactic moment of Return to Volition. Well scripted. :)
I do appreciate that. And as for the movie... well thank you... I didn't know you had seen RtV. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Are you referring to the 'twist' near the end?
Thanks man. The twist actually came very late in the game. The original plot was that a guy gets a wrong number ransom call for a wife he doesn't have. I was sitting in Geology when the idea popped up.
Oh, I'm working on a feature length movie that will probably be in the vein of outreach (my church is going to be backing it) I won't be writing it alone, but I will be a big contributor to its creation.
I love your anime reviews. I don't have to time to keep up with what's new but you keep me in the loop. Also, I like the technowizardry with circuits. Circuit labs bored me, but I always found the theories to be very interesting. Seeing them applied is very cool.
Senorita Krob, I like the fact that you are willing to put yourself in challenging situations. Going to Spain for a semester takes fortitude and the knowledge that you can survive away from what you are used to. You've always been a rocksteady anchor for us at the BSU.
I love the fact that you're willing to express your doubts. Everyone prays and confesses they have sin, but it takes courage to actually write that down for other people to read. And do not think you are less of a disciple of Christ because you doubt. Doubt makes us human. You chose to do Master Life I overseas, which shows dedication. It's been good to go over the basics amidst a secular culture, right? I meant to call you on your birthday, but a few things got in the way as you know. I don't know how you feel now, but I guarantee that when you are a missionary you will look back at this experience and thank the good Lord for it. I believe it's made you that much more empathetic to the internationals on our own campus. Ginger is going to Spain next semester, and we really need someone to take her place as our ISM liason on leadership team. I hope you're up to the task. :)
By the way, Master Life II is Steve's favorite one in the series. It describes the Disciple's Personality. I've been looking over it to prepare for next semester's study and I think of all the books it will benefit you the most. I'd tell you why, but that'd be spoiling things for you.
First of all, I tried to email some stuff to your utulsa, but it was returned, saying that the account is expired. I'll email it to you if you let me know where.
I'm gonna post this in my LJ/xanga, so you'll have to comment for me to respond. But I can't respond to LJ from my home comupter, so it may be a little slow in coming back (besides that I'm going to London tomorrow for four days!)
