Aichan told me I write too much. I stand accused. So, for now, I promise to only write two posts a day. Not only will this force me to choose my words more carefully, I'll probably get more stuff done.

Quote for the day:
"When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You just know that your name is safe in their mouth." Billy - age 4

Link for the day:
[livejournal.com profile] weaselofjustice had this freaking genius idea about adding a certain new feature to blogs. How freaking brilliant is it? Not only did I link to it, I confess I actually said the F word after I read it. And you know Brimstone Baptists don't like cussing at all. Sorry, Lord, it was just too brilliant for my weak flesh to handle.
-------------------------------
Speaking of stuff to do, to do list for today:
Take car to auto shop for six month checkup.
Call Academic Support to see what I can do to get re enrolled.
Plan tentative schedule for next semester.
Go to doctor to see if I can be medically cleared to return to school next semester.
Check with anime Mike to see if we're really going to Memphis.
Post on my blogs.
Write 250 words for my research project.
Look through MasterLife II Bible study.
Play the piano for an hour.
-------------------------------
I read in the paper yesterday that piano playing reduces stress and improves your memory. Researchers are unsure whether it has to do with the keys or what, but the achievement of playing the music for yourself has a soothing effect on your soul. Memorizing new songs helps keep the memory sharp. Speaking of which, I need to work on another Christmas song. I think I'll try "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" next.

[livejournal.com profile] stella_x3x3 said this about me:
You have depth, your posts usually mean something rather than just nothingness like most ljers. And your instrested to know what other people think, its a good quality to have.

[livejournal.com profile] zarhooie had this to say about me:
Me: Hi, I think you can help me improve my writing in both content and style.
zarhooie: You're expecting a lot, darling. I'll see what I can do.
What she read me comment as: You should have content and style in your writing which will help ME have content and style in my writing.
What she really meant to say: OMFG I have content and style?! Since when?! HA! *gigglefit*

[livejournal.com profile] moocowrich then explained me to zarhooie in one simple equation:
rich: D2=awesome
rich: Let it be known.

[livejournal.com profile] zarhooie edited her post shortly:
[EDIT] Oh. Dear lord, this is why I ought to look at mutual friends before I friend people. greybeta has like... half of you on their flist. Of course, 'Song shares half my flist as well, so I guess it's not that strange, but still.... Anyway. I have apparentally agreed to help them in their "quest for improving style and content". Seriously. Since when do I have style and content? I mean.... I have a style, but content?

So I tell you this: They're all right. Oh, and I'm utterly fascinated by what people think. Especially about me. ;)

How much sugar do you like in your tea? (This would be a poll if I had a paid account. Yes, that is a hint that one of my fine readers could give me a nice Christmas gift. Please?)

On a side note, you can use this question to determine whether or not someone is from the good ole South.

The question is not how much sugar you need in your tea. It is how much tea to have with your sugar. :P

Sugar in tea is an abomination, an affront to all that is True and Just.

Beg your pardon, I do quite believe that tea without sugar would be abominable to all that is holy in this good world.

I do not drink tea. Sometimes hot tea. But I don't add things, because I only drink flavored hot teas, like peppermint. So that didn't answer your question at all. Although, maybe it says something about my southern-ness.

Woman, learn some basic HTML. If you can read and write on LJ, then you should know a little HTML. That way you can emphasize things or SHOUT> out for joy. I mean, it'll come in handy later too when you get to college. If you have a question about how to do something, you should first scroll down to the bottom of this page and click Site Map. On the bottom right you'll see FAQ. Hmmmm, maybe LJ was smart enough to make a page to answer questions for people who actually do some work? Effin' Brilliant (Sorry for the sarcasm, it's just that you touched on one of my pet peeves, people too lazy to learn/look up things for themselves).

You can ask for my help, but I'll repeatedly and derisively call you woman as I help you. ^_^

And yeah, there's this one girl at school who I perk up every time she says my name. :D

Sorry, I interpret "I don't know how to do that" as "I'm lazy, tell me how to do that." Silly me. ;)

Okay, I just looked at my last post and it looks way more brutal than I intended. Silly habits of mine. Anyways, take it all with a grain of salt. :)

But I wasn't kidding about the whole calling you woman thing...

Depends on the tea. Hot tea I put honey in it. Lots of honey. If it is cold tea I don't use regular sugar because it doesn't dissolve and I would have to put a ton in there to get it sweet enough yet I don't like how sweet they make tea in the south. So I usually end up using splenda or sweet n low. Two packets usually do me for a glass of iced tea.

I...don't drink tea. Hot tea, that is. Iced tea, yeah. My family goes through a jug a day. Pot of tea, water, half a can of lemonade, and, um, some sugar. A small orange measuring cup...I know it's small! I just can't remember what size it is. But I grab the same measuring cup and get a scoop of sugar every time. Sometimes, I add a little extra. And it's good enough for me.
