D2 needs a "D2" icon

greybetaD2 needs a "D2" icon. Except he doesn't have Photoshop, or leet photoshopping skilz for that matter. So he asks his fine friends, could you make a "D2" icon for me? Literally, the icon should prominently feature the letter "D" and the number "2". Except he has no clue whatsoever what he wants for an icon.
So he's giving you free reign to be creative!
After last time, D2 has learned to screen the comments on this post so you won't see anyone else's entries. He'll give it until tomorrow noon, CST (which is about sixteen hours from now). If he can't decide between two awesome submissions, he might just use both or go to a poll.
As part of the law of equivalent exchange, if you submit a quality icon, D2 will write a 500 word (no more, no less) essay on a query of your choice. As long as he finds the query interesting (no, I'm not going to write five hundred words about the mating habits of African anteaters).
