A picture is worth a thousand words
Yes, I'm Asian. Seven-eights Vietnamese, one-eighth Chinese to be exact. Yes, I am wearing an "Eye of the Storm" University of Tulsa T-shirt. I currently attend and hope to graduate from the land of the GoldenTornado Hurricane. Yes, this picture was taken at a Magic: The Gathering Pro Tour Qualifier. I am a nerd and I like anime and video games as well. Yes, I am for some odd reason smiling in this picture. I am a positive pessimist after all. And yes, I do have a charming smile. I unfortunately am much too busy to entertain a ladyfriend at this jucture of my life.
Something that happened in my life
As Jacob-kohai would say, "Bloody feck!". An extended family member just came down with a severe mental illness. Must run in my family.
Random observation
Waking in the middle of your wisdom tooth surgery is a very, very painful experience.
I'd hyperventilate.
Then I'd try to scream...
OMG THE PAIN, THE PAIN! MAKE IT STOP!!!!@##$#%!@%!@^@!^@^&$!
No seriously, it would hurt.
So let's all take some and pray/give thoughts to those who experience such horrors.
Like a certain Polymer Potter friend of mine, bless her heart.

D2: Actually, I just nickname Southern Baptists "Brimstone Baptists" because we're all about the "fire and brimstone." Everybody's going to hell every week...except for us perfect Brimstone Baptists.
Jen: Now I must friend you back for the novelty of reading honest-to-God Southern Baptist entries on my flist. I diversify a little more each day.
D2: That's funny, I needed more polyamorous liberals to diversify my flist.
Kat: If you can choose between 80% meat and 90% meat, always go with the 90%.
D2: But what if the 80% is cheaper, why wouldn't I go for the 80%?
Kat: You end up paying for less meat because the 80% is less meat.
D2: Yeah, but do you have that extra twenty cents for me to buy that meat?

D2: Question, if I turn in a 59 card decklist but my friend wrote it, isn't he responsible?
D2: Answer, No, you are still responsible for looking through your decklist before you turn it in.
Mike: That's a dumb*** question.
D2: And, to think, those are the kinds of questions we'll be answering at the Guildpact Prerelease.

We see this theory at work, for example, in the genealogy of Jesus’ ancestors. They have been artificially grouped into three lists of 14 persons each (see Matthew 1:1-16). Why 14? Because the name "David" has the numerical value of 14. Counting the consonants only, D (Daleth ) was the fourth letter of the Hebrew alphabet and W (Waw) the sixth. David (D+W+D) therefore totalled 4+6+4=14. Oh so that's why Matthew made such a big deal about fourteen generations. I'd always wondered that. Thanks,thanoslug!
