I guess maybe it'll be a small blessing that it's looking increasingly likely that I won't be getting married in a church. Music by: my ipod. :)

But you're right in that when it comes to the actual wedding, what happens during it kind of comes secondary to actually getting to be together.

Especially since I had no idea who most of the guests were. ;-)

My recommendation: Have someone videotape the wedding and reception (if you're not having it done professionally). It all happens so quickly, we didn't really notice what was going on.

My cousins' weddings all have had professional photographers/cameramen to record the goings on. It makes for a cool DVD.
