Nothing like a couple of midterms to remind you of the less fun parts of school.

Translation: Let's get nothing worthwhile done before the next election.
High school safety
After the school shooting, my parents asked me if I felt safe being a teacher. I said I felt as safe as I would be if I were driving a car or walking down the street. If something bad happens, it will happen.

Sports Report
The biggest story by far is the Rockies' ridiculous run of 20 of their last 21 games, including sweeping the NLDS and NLCS. Many moons ago, many people detested the wild card concept in baseball, but this will mark the sixth straight year that a wild card will make it to the World Series. And the Rockies are on the wildest run of them all!
Entertainment
Transformers just came out yesterday on DVD. I highly recommend it if you haven't seen it yet for some reason.
Blogging less
Means more time to do homework. Or procrastinate. Or both! ^_^
