Memorial Day, a great day for barbeques and sports across America. Or a day on the lake. And a day to proudly remember the red white and blue (and the fact that the flag stands for the right to burn it). Brave men fought, fight, and will continue to fight to make these freedoms possible, even if we all don't agree on what those freedoms are.

On this day, I gotta give a shout out to my enigmatic army man friend.

That was a sick block Stoudemire had on Duncan. I mean Stoudemire gives up at least three inches to Duncan and yet he goes up and rejects Duncan. And this wasn't one of those weak Duncan goes for a layup and Stoudemire catches him from behind. Duncan thought he had an open dunk and Stoudemire had to jump in front, and with hand right over the rim he rejects Duncan. Al Michaels thought it was miraculous.

About as miraculous as Nash's flip pass while falling out of bounds.

Pirates actually won a one run game at home.

A good friend has said that he will try to write at least one LJ update for 21 days straight. To up the ante, I'll try to match him.

So, did anyone not go to the lake/baseball game/BBQ this fine weekend?
