Oh yeah people, if you read my journal, prepare to keep up with the bombardment of my thoughts. The medicine gives me these random bursts of energy in which I have to disperse somehow.
----------------------------------------------
I am now trying to wake up at 7:00am everyday in order to give schedule and regularity to my life.
----------------------------------------------
Okay, so when I was depressed, I lacked energy and motivation. The mountain of laundry I brought home is the biggest sign of that. That's today's project...
----------------------------------------------
Meanwhile, I'll be watching some football, cheering for my fantasy team. This week is one of the closest weeks ever as I'm only favored by one point according to the guru.

When you were growing up, did you eat meals as a family or separately?

I just read a post on my friends list that stirred up a memory I have of my freshman year in college. My post is not an indictment, just retelling a memory.

So anyways, in high school I decided to sign up for Tulsa's honors program. It seemed innocent enough, plus my scheming roommate was going to go through the program too. What I didn't know was that the honors program at Tulsa was more of a Great Books program. I thought the honors program was going to be "Honors Calculus" or "Honors Chemistry" but it was actually just a bunch of English classes tacked on. The very first class was taught by Dr. Rahe, the same guy who brought me to my true love of history. It was a class on Ancient Greece. I got to read Plato and Homer and Thucydides and other ancient classics. Looking back, it was my favorite class in the honors program.

The story I remember had to do with the fact when Dr. Rahe started talking about his wife. At one point in the story, he claimed that he knew when his wife wasn't going to class. That obviously begged the question of how he knew she wasn't going to class. That was because he taught the class.

Yeah, I heard a pin dropping on the carpet.
