The Idaho State Legislature are full of idiots. Find out why here. Hint: I hate Napoleon Dynamite.

I've taken to memorizing simple piano songs lately. So far I've picked up "Go Down, Moses" and "House of the Rising Sun."

The BCS is a brilliant system designed to make us college football fans pay attention each and every week. It's absolutely brilliant and I don't see why we would go to a playoff system anytime soon.

If you walked into a McDonald's, what extra value meal would you order? I personally order chicken nuggets or the two cheeseburger meal.

I should explain something about my thoughts about the Idaho Legislature. That last bill I mentioned was not the absolutely worse thing they could have done in objective terms. However, I have an insatiable, incomprehensible hatred of all things Napoleon Dynamite. That's why the Idaho Legislature is full of idiots.

According to the power breakdown in my fantasy league, I have the number two team. This week will pit me against the number one power team and also the overall league leader. Our league has standard scoring, with 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DST, and 1 Flex (RB or WR).

His team versus my team )

I usually make the picks each week in our fantasy league, and I'm usually biased towards myself, but this one I just don't know. I mean this could be the first case this year where both teams score over 100 points.

Growing up, what was your favorite cereal? How about right now?

For me, I loved Frosted Flakes growing up. Now I like Cocoa Puffs and all kinds of chocolate-y cereals.

Okay, after one week, I can say the Lexapro is working. I never feel too sad or two happy. However, I'm suddenly feeling hyperattentive. Like I'm going through though IMs, writing a LJ post, and watching TV and I'm paying attention to all three and I still feel bored. It's the most awkward feeling ever.

With little better to do, I watched Bones and House, MD on Fox yesterday. I really enjoyed both shows. Bones has wonderful tension between its lead characters, although it's the kind of tension that will end the show once it's resolved. But it's in its first promising season so that's okay.

I absolutely loved House. The namesake character House is a crippled curmudgeon of a doctor, but he's brilliant so people put up with him. He's gruff and he knows he's a bit prissy. I find it entertaining just to see how he reacts to things in the show.

I talked to two old friends who I hadn't talked to in quite awhile today. The first is Kevano, i.e. the cello master Kevin, who I've known since fourth grade, when we played one on one basketball in his backyard. He's a good man, old fashioned conservative, and skilled bass guitar player. We caught up and he's going to try to take me to a Razorback basketball game in Fayetteville.

The other old friend was the red headed Brigid. She was one of my opponents last year in the run for SA President. She actually won a Truman Scholarship, excelling at biochemistry and environmental policy. She's a good person, tree hugging liberal, and a paragon of type A personality. She thought I was an Old Soul. Not sure about the Old Soul thing, but she promised she would drop by my house on Saturday before going home to Little Rock (the Arkansas connection). We've had our philosophical differences as she was the president of Young Democrats at one time and I kept insisting that Kerry was going to lose, but we've become good friends since our time in Dr. Rahe's honors class and Student Senate.

I just had one of those awkward conversations with my dad. No, wait, it was the awkward conversation. You know, the birds and the bees one.

My dad doesn't give me any credit for the first twenty one years of existence. So I humored him.

I guess this is the hint that I should start pumping out the grandkids.
