Happy Birthday, Sis!
Happy Birthday to my elder sis, my one and only sibling! ^_^

Substitute teaching
The tuberculosis test came back negative, so now all I have to do is get my fingerprints taken at the substitute teacher workshop this coming Tuesday and I'll have all the paperwork filled out to be a sub.

Dale Bumpers
As part of the American Democracy Project, Senator Dale Bumpers and former governor of Arkansas came out and spoke for half an hour at my university. Predictable, but at least he varied his tone.

Kids
Last week a kid started crying in my four year old Sunday School class. He missed his mommy. We let him cry, continuing on until we did an activity he was interested in and then he suddenly stopped crying and joined in like nothing happened. Kids!

Sports Report
I'll be paying attention to the BYU-Tulsa and Arkansas-Alabama games today. I am rooting for the Panthers to throw to Steve Smith alot tomorrow for my fantasy team.

Entertainment
I am looking forward to the return of Heroes next Monday. Hopefully Tim Kring and company will be able to continue the success from their inaugural season.
