1. How long have you been playing Magic the Gathering?
Since junior high...so 12 years now. I started when Fourth Edition came out, and started playing more heavily when Mercadian Masques came out. As a side note, I was a Level 1 judge for a year.

2. How did you find out about the Ferrett?
Way, way back when, StarCityGames decided to try an experiment and let readers submit articles for publishing on the front page. I was a senior in high school and decided to try it out, not expecting to ever get an article published. For some reason, Ferrett published me (most likely due to the fact that I wrote with good grammar, something apparently lacking in a lot of submissions). I just checked, you can find my articles in their archive from seven years ago. Oh, and I became interested in the editor who would actually publish my articles.

3. What made you decide to become a teacher?
I've been asked this enough times that I've linked to it in my profile: Who's teaching your children?

4. Does your sister being married to a person of non-Vietnamese descent cause any problems with your parents? (I only ask this because I'm interested in how other Asian families deal with things like that. Mine would freak out!)
My parents are actually pretty cool with it. It's the other family members that tend to be the problem!

5. What's your favorite 3.0/3.5 D&D character class and race? 4.0? (yes, it's 2 questions!)
Um, I'm going to be honest and say I haven't played D&D since 2.0. I usually played human or elf clerics.

I started during Scourge, when I was in college. I was in middle school when the game came out and there was a store that sold it & held weekly tournaments within easy bicycling distance from my house. I never tried and played Star Trek CCG instead. :(

As Sean Connery would say, you chose...poorly. Scourge wasn't too bad of a set to break into since everybody loves creatures!

Yeah I really like tribal so it wasn't a bad set for me to get into.
