I like casserole

greybetaI had some great mexican casserole tonight thanks to two lovely ladies. I think I had five servings (by far the most of anyone). It definitely saved my day.
I have been known obsess over casserole. Why? I'm Baptist. Whenever I think of casserole, I think of my organ-playing European history teacher I had in high school. He happened to be the organist for one of the large Baptist churches in my hometown. One day we had this conversation:
Mr. B: Do you know why Baptists make the best casseroles?
Me: No, why?
Mr. B: They put all their vices in them.
