Fortune cookie of doom

Tonight, my Roman Republic colloquium went out to eat Thai before our last class. I ordered Thai pad noodles with chicken, which was delicious. At the end of the meal, we got our platitude fortune cookies.

My cookie mystically foretold, "You will soon receive help from an unexpected source."

Now if I could only figure out what I needed help with...
