I reformatted my computer today. A virus ran haywire on my laptop. And I let it fester for a year or so. Finally I just went ahead and went for the full cleaning. At the suggestion of my suitemate Stu, master of the Internet, I am now using avast as my antivirus program.
Two days ago, the friend that I've known the longest (since kindergarten) turned 21. John was celebrating his birthday today...back home in Ft. Smith. Curse Tulsa for starting a week before everyone else!
I went to my first women's college basketball game ever, pitting the Tulsa Golden Hurricane against the Rice Lady Owls. TU dominated and improved to 11-3, and signs point to us to having a pretty good team this year.
A cool thing about Tulsa is that students get free tickets to all the football and basketball games. I can't complain about free Division I games. It's especially a good deal for me since the basketball arena is literally across the street from my dorm, and the football stadium is little down the street.
The sad thing about the women's game was it was "Pack the House" night. $2 tickets to the general public. I'm not sure if they even got a third of the seats filled.
