Apr. 11th, 2005 12:25 amThursday I got pwned in nine ball by my mysterious suitemate,
wldntulk2knwwho. Okay, we’re in a race to seven and he’s up 3-2. I rack em up, and I put the diamond away. The moment I look back, I see the nine ball go in. On the break, mind you. I nod, and say that’s game and rack them up again. He then proceeds to knock the nine ball in on the break again. Sigh. I’ll never see that again.
You know another play I’ll never see again? Baltimore was playing Oakland on ESPN Wednesday night, and it was tied 1-1 when a freak play happened. There’s a runner on first, and Kotsay goes for a sacrifice bunt. The Orioles lefty reliever makes the right play, scooping the ball up and spinning the throw to first for the out. Except the A’s get runners on first and second because the Orioles second baseman cut off the first baseman. Yep, the second baseman who was covering first on the bunt attempt got in front of the first baseman and cut off the throw. The announcer said that he had never seen that play before. And he’s never going to see that play again.
The Cleveland Cavaliers will barely stumble into the playoffs. I can’t pick against LeBron James.
Allocations, how I hate thee.
Isn’t it funny that people can run around broken but still say they’re fine? It’s like we don’t want anyone else to know we’re hurting inside…
