n. pl. id·i·o·syn·cra·sies
A structural or behavioral characteristic peculiar to an individual or group.
Write down five of your own personal idiosyncracies. Then, if you wish, tag five people from your friendslist to do the same in their journals.
1. I tend to get into a high pitched voice when I get excited about something. Guess I got it from watching all those sports TV announcers, like the Kirk Gibson call I don’t believe what I just saw!. Or Al Michaels' Do you believe in miracles?!?.
2. I sigh a lot. To the point of actually saying “Sigh…” when something (or somebody) makes me said.
3. I have a habit of calling my good friends “old friends”, even if I haven’t known them that long.
4. I go for the flashy play too often. This would include betting on double zero at a roulette table, going all-in on a stone cold bluff, and selecting halfback option pass on NCAA.
5. I take half an hour to think of the one perfect word to write. I’d write faster if I just write what I intend to say then come back and edit to sound better.

Date: 2005-07-07 01:58 pm (UTC)1) I can't stand loose hairs and I refuse to go near them.... even if they are mine.
2) I'm an all or nothing person. If I do something, I go all the way with it. (Look at my scrapbook collection and you'll see what I mean.) If I like something, I love it. Likewise, if I can't be the best or explore all aspects of it, I have no interest.
3) I'm still afraid of the kids who were popular in high school. I become completely uncomfortable when I am in a situation where I must talk to them.
4) I have my hands in my hair constantly. I run my fingers through my hair, twirl a small piece of hair, etc., etc. I think I do it most when I'm bored or nervous.
5) I brush my teeth alot. I'm obsessed with good dental hygiene.
