One day, London celebrates winning a bid to host the 2012 Summer Olympics. And the next the city’s transportation system is terrorized. It’s almost as if alchemy’s first law of equivalent exchange is at work here: To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. Wait a minute, that sounds kind of cold.

It’s these kind of things that make me wonder if we ever value human lives enough. Or life in general for that matter. Sigh. All I can do is wish the Brits well in London.

I watched Robot Chicken for the very first time this weekend. Demented, but funny.

All Star rosters announced. Ah, the idiosyncrasies of choosing the rosters leaves out some very deserving candidates. Carlos Beltran is the biggest culprit people say. Ah, how people so easily forget an eight homer postseason performance.

I won't post this in my journal because I'm quite happy not knowing what my other readers would want to do with me.
