College is a scary time. It almost seems like your whole life depends on these four or five years. But there's more to life than just that.

We know more than we know.

Everyone needs to cheer for SMU to beat UTEP today in college football. If that happens, Tulsa will go to the Conference USA Championship game. C'mon Mustangs!

Good thing I haven't ready any of the books yet (sadly I still know the references, thank you mainstream media).

ravenpuff
You're a Ravenpuff!: You are a very analytical and
ingenius person, someone that likes to invent
new things. The way you look at life is with
wonder, and sometimes you're even a little
naive. But people love you for that trait and
they feel the need to protect you from the
harsh facts of life so that you can retain your
innocence. You are very capable person and when
there is trouble people turn to you because
you're able to stay calm and collected. You
like balance in your life and you try not to
make many waves. Even still, if there is
something that you believe strongly in, you
will commit yourself totally to that cause.
Your weakness is that sometimes you can be
indecisive and perfectionist, especially about
little details and you drive people crazy
sometimes with these traits. With the
innocence of a Hufflepuff and the calm of a
Ravenclaw you will be loved in life!

[livejournal.com profile] visgoth showed me this cleverly named webcomic, Cyanide and Happiness. What webcomics do you recommend?

The only webcomic that I read regularly is Sluggy Freelance. Another one you might like, though is 8-bit Theatre, which tells the story of Final Fantasy 1 using sprites. I used to read it, and it actually inspired me to make a webcomic of my own for a short time, chronicling the adventures of a roleplaying group I was in.

Sluggy Freelance looks pretty funny. I'll have to put it on my queue to read. I've read 8 bit Theater before, although I haven't read it as much lately due to the fact that it got off the storyline. Your GP or your HP is still a classic line though, hehehe.

Yeah, I lost interest in 8-bit a while ago.

Sluggy is great, but it's a serial, so it really works best to read from the beginning. Especially right now, because Oceans Unmoving isn't one of Pete's best plots ever. When you get the chance, read through the archives though. All... I think seven years of them :P There are some GREAT stories in there.

Well, there's MegaTokyo, and I also like Irregular Webcomic a lot -- IWC is unapologetic about its geekiness.
