Welcome
Welcome new friends [livejournal.com profile] _53 and [livejournal.com profile] douhavepez!

Administration
Quite a few people have left my quest. I thank them and want to say that there are no hard feelings.

Something that happened in my life
I spent thirteen hours doing layout for my section. I'll get better once I get used to the Macs in the Collegian newsroom.

Guru Stu=Teh los3
D2: Let's go eat dinner!
PC: Random tradition!
Guru: No, thanks. I'd rather go to Kep and study.
D2: Guru Stu, it's Friday!
PC: Yeah, come eat with your friends instead of going to the engineering building.
Guru: But I have so much to do...

Video game duel?
Anime Mike's FFXI guild leader challenged him to a video game duel. Yes, a video game duel. It is as nerdy as it sounds.

The strange thing is that she's a sixteen year old high school girl in California. Who wants to take road trip to see boring Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Who has stolen the heart of anime Mike.

Verse of the Day
"This is the day that the Lord hath made, we shall be glad and rejoice in it."
Psalms 118:24

Convos of the Day

Daughter: I always thought that was normal, but now I think it must have just been my desperate need to do things my way.
Mother: From birth.

Stephen: So, wait, in Boggle the letters have to be next to each other to make the words?
D2: It so much easier without those silly little rules, ain't it?

David: So, yeah, I was reading your article, and I can't tell the difference between when you are boing sarcastic from when you are being serious.
D2: That's the point.

EIC: But I don't think my boyfriend would want a blow job for Valentine's Day...
D2: Um, I'd want a blowjob for Valentine's Day!
EIC: ...
Managing Editor: Daniel, I think you'll fit right in.

Managing Editor: You realize you're going to die once the BLGTA reads your article, aren't you?
D2: That's okay. I'll get to see Jesus sooner then.

Quote of the Day
"There are as many alignments as there are people. There aren't just nine, like there are in D&D."
~Rouge

Link of the Day
Text Twist. An old classic game that will improve your leet Boggle skills.

Sports Report
Go SteelerS! Steelers all the way to the Super Bowl! Big Ben FTW!!!

Entertainment
Generator Gawl is one of the better animes available, especially if you like time travel.

Boggle Battle!
I actually got pwned in Boggle for once. I just much better one-on-one than I am in large groups. That's because I'm good at coming up with a large volume of words, but not necessarily quality words.

Random question
Is it normal for a lazy twenty one year old to fall in love with someone more than two years younger than him?

I gusss there are those kinds of relationships in anime...

Wait... When you wrote 'more than two years younger', I assumed 'more than two years, but not too much more'. A 21-year old falling in love with someone of 18 years old is nothing out of the ordinary.
A 21-year old falling in love with a 14 year old is... something else.

How about 21 and 16?

it happens. I was 15 and a 23 year old really really was into me.

I'd be concerned. There is a bigger gap between someone 16 years of age and someone of 21, than there is between people of 30 and 25.
I'm not concerned by the difference in age, but in experiences. At 16, you are at a totally different phase in your development than someone of 21.

That's not to say that it couldn't work out.

Yes. Love knows no boundaries. Somthing i've discovered at the age of 16.

Go SteelerS! Steelers all the way to the Super Bowl! Big Ben FTW!!!

The definitely had a lot going against them in that game. They were playing the leagues most explosive offense in their home stadium. And they had a collection of the most inept officals getting in their way.

I did get quite a bit of satisfaction in seeing that "idiot kicker" Vanderjagt choke.

Yeah, that Polamalu call was freaking terrible. If the Steelers had lost...

If the Steelers had lost, the NFL would have to live with the fact that they would have an illegitimate contender in the AFC Championship game, and perhaps the Super Bowl.

The "forward progress" call that saved the Colts from a safety was also horrible.

Not to mention the conspiracy theories, which the NBA has too much trouble shaking...

Porter is already talking about conspiracy theories - he's claiming that the officials were cheating and wanted the Colts to win.

Giving the glaring number of bad calls during the game, I can see why he would think that way.
