Random thoughts 4-14-05
Apr. 14th, 2005 11:23 pmTonight, the strong willed Rachael,
ltin371 made a highlight catch on the run in right field for our BSU co ed slow pitch softball time. Not only was it a highlight play, but it was a clutch play that allowed the BSU to hold on 12-11 in a first round playoff game. Nice catch Rachael!
I'd be out there if it weren't for student senate and other duties (even if I'm not very good).

Speaking of student senate, strange things have been going down. I'm not sure it's worth commenting on though, since I'm so close to leaving.

To celebrate pirate girl's birthday, some of her friends held a small dance party in their apartment. Fun times, plus delicious fresh baked cookie cake with vanilla ice cream. Oh man, there's nothing like that melting feeling in your mouth. Oh yeah...
-------------------------------------
Interviews...apparently my interview for BSU leadership team was the shortest one they had. I guess I'm too concise. Also, the newsletter for the Tulsa Undergraduate Research Challenge wants to feature me next. Wahoo.
-------------------------------------
Emag test blew our class away today. I knew I was in trouble when the third of three problems was something that I forgot to write down in my notes. Suck.

Marlins have four complete games, including two shutouts by Dontrelle Willis. I doubt they'll be able to keep up through the summer in Florida, but I dare say they have the best front four rotation in baseball. It's balanced with power righty Josh Beckett, veteran lefty Al Leiter, flaming righty A. J. Burnett, and the energetic lefty Willis. Whether they win the division or not will rest on the middle relief and Mota's ability to close.
Pirates...oy vey.
