Top ten nerdiest hobbies

Just to show me how much of a nerd I am, my xanga friend, the graphics design major plaid space star sent me this link describing the top ten nerdiest hobbies.

It's missing anime, but it does a good job of hitting most of them. I never thought of scrapbooking as a nerdy hobby, but it made the list. I'm also sad to say that I'm the only one of my high school inner circle never to start an EQ account.

Considering I have many of these hobbies, it is amazing that I have managed to get married and have not one, but two children.

It is probably due to:
a. WotC did not release MtG until I was 24, and had a 3-year old.
b. I have never LARP-ed.
c. My wife is a RPG video game freak like myself.

Also, neither one of us ever got into MMRPG's like Everquest. That might have ended our marriage.

You know, I had some friends who played EverQuest (or maybe it was Ultima Online), and they described the work required to improve your skill levels and build your house, etc - it sounds much too much like real-life work. I need my gaming to provide a little more escape - I am not looking for another job in the evenings.

The list was written by Seanbaby, a guy who thinks loading a Barbie car with fireworks, dousing it with gas, and lighting it on fire is quality entertainment.
