Thanksgiving break is here

I am fortunate that I get a week off for Thanksgiving. Normally, my brain would shut off. And it has for today.

However, over the break I will need to complete the following tasks:
1. Write a 3000-4000 word essay for the Elie Wiesel Ethics Essay Contest
2. Have something written for all the questions on my Truman application.
3. Write the first draft of a 20 page paper for my American Empire class.
4. Write a 2 page detailed outline of 20 page paper for my Roman Republic colloquium.
5. Write a bill to make my student government allocation guidelines fully reflect the change from confidentiality to open sunshine.

Somewhere in there I'll be spending time with family, friends, and football. And lots of sleep.

Over the next week, I will come up with a bunch of posts in which I will beg for feedback, mostly on the ethics essay and Truman application. Just to warn ya guys.

Oh, and I am very amused by this icon that I saw thanoslug using.

and about that icon, I can't read all what's said on the quick panel, only trust bush, I can't read but the small print when it flashes by.

After staring at the icon for about five minutes, I finally figured out that the small print on both top and bottom say "evil subliminal message".

I hope that you know this, but I don't hate anyone for their vote. I don't understand it, and I don't agree with it...but greybeta, I don't think you are evil and stupid. Just maybe not aware of all the facts. :)

Is this where I mention that if Bush has to resort to subliminal messaging to get people to trust him we are in a world of trouble? ;)
