Actually, I'm only 5'11". But I certainly feel a lot taller when I go to weddings, where I literally tower above all my cousins. It's especially funny when I'm sitting down at a table, and I rise to greet an elder. Their first comment to my parents is always "Wow, he's really tall."

The second comment is "Is he the older one?", which irks my sister (four years older than me) to no end.
