Good ole home cooking

I have returned home. And it's a rather good feeling. Cause even when you're down, there's nothing like some good ole home cooking from Mom to cheer ya up. My fretful mother prepared my favorite meal, pho, otherwise known as Vietnamese rice noodle soup. Followed up by Asian pears for dessert (it's the big dieting secret of Asians to have healthy fruit rather than unhealthy sweets for dessert).

What's the difference between Asian pears and regular pears? The Asian ones taste better.
