My head hurts

For a good reason. I'm within two or three pages of finishing up my paper, and I have until Friday. Surely, surely, I won't procrastinate until then, right? Maybe.

Tomorrow starts a new semester for me, and it's a blank slate. I used to be afraid of blank slates. I never made a B in high school (not exactly hard to do), so each new semester brought the chance of failure. But now I'm a different man. I have failed, so I can't be afraid of that anymore.

A new dawn brings new challenges.

We all have that moment when we realize we are no longer the big fish in a small pond. The secret is to bounce back quick. From what I read, you were mostly having problems because you were overloaded. Have you addressed it this semester? Also, you mentioned that you were having fundamental understanding problems in your Electronics class (even though it is major). Have you gotten a tutor/mentor? A small push now can save you a lot of problems later.

As far as the overload problems go, I've decided to be a bit more trusting of my subordinates. I think a large part of me subscribes to the "if you want anything done right, do it yourself" saying. I have to remind myself that other people can do the work.

My electronics professor agreed to help me, as long as I asked. Just have to push myself.
