Did Jar Jar actually have a line in the movie? I don't know, I've heard that he doesn't get any lines, but mysterious Phil, aka [livejournal.com profile] wldntulk2knwwho, claims he heard Jar Jar apologizing early on in the movie, at the point when Obi Wan and Anakin return from the movie's beginning mission. I don't remember that, though.

A nice way to celebrate your 21st birthday: An appetizer and strawberry daiquiry at Appleby's courtesy of your former suitemate, then go watch the third episode of Star Wars with your girlfriend (picking up a third wheel) on opening weekend.

Happy Birthday, Phil!

Annoying, the dialogue between Padme and Anakin is.

The movie does not have any political message whatsoever. Besides democracy and liberty dying...

I recommend seeing it. The legacy cannot be reborn, but it's still a legacy like no other.

Jar Jar bumped into another alien. Then the camera pans away from them to Anakin. Off screen, you hear a deep alien voice say something like "Hey, watch where you're going!" followed by something similar to "Mesa sorry."

In that case, I'm probably wrong.

Out loud, I did laugh at this.

It really is bad, though.
