I spent the weekend in Wichita, Kansas to get an interview done for my senior honors project. Hopefully I give myself some time later to write down some more developed thoughts about it.

Pirates just wrapped up a brutal interleague week of the Yankees followed by the Red Sox (1-5 after getting the the .500 mark). And where did those Nationals come from? Oh, and the Orioles infield might just be as good as the Rangers infield.

Typically in martial arts, grasshoppers learn from their senseis. And, every so often, the sensei says something indubitably profound.

Forgiveness is the healing of wounds caused by another. You choose to let go of a past wrong and no longer be hurt by it. Forgiveness is a strong move to make, like turning your shoulders sideways to walk quickly on a crowded sidewalk. It's your move.

Robert Horry broke my heart yesterday. The man COULD NOT MISS at the end of the game. I've been calling for Detroit to win it all since before the playoffs started, and all I could was watch in agony as Horry drained trey after trey down the stretch. What the HELL was Wallace thinking, leaving him alone w/ 5 seconds to go in the OT?

Oh, and one more thing. When the game was close, in the 4th, Duncan could not BUY a free throw. He had to have been under 50% from the line.
