I'm so bored that I'm doing something I swore that I would never do: Keep up with Facebook. It makes me cry a little inside. Although, they could be tears of laughter.

My dad is teaching me one of his old Tae Kwon Do forms. I never mentioned this, but my dad is a second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He says that practicing the form will increase my ability to concentrate and focus for the day.

Ten minutes on the treadmill today. I'm so out of shape.

On the day [livejournal.com profile] theferrett writes about communication, I go off and do exactly what I shouldn't do. The Internet is a strange language, and I often assume I have sarcasm tags on a lot of things.

"And that is why you fail."

That line could be taken a number of ways. Now if you just took it at face value, I'm insulting someone. And I am. But the scene where I take this from is the Star Wars scene where Luke Skywalker tries to raise the X Wing out of the swamp. Of course, he is unable to use the Force to do so. Then Yoda comes up and does it. Luke exclaims, "I don't believe it!" to which Yoda responds "And that is why you fail." I meant it as a joke.

Where's [yoda] tags when you need them?

Keeping up with the food theme, what's your favorite kind of cheese?

I really like soft goats cheese. Easy to use in all sorts of dishes (or to spread on a cracker or a loaf of bread), but also very tasty on its own.
However, the last few years I have developed a taste for all sorts of blue cheeses. One of the dishes I often make is beef strips with mushrooms and blue cheese -- delicious! In fact, we ate that last saturday.

I tend to use emoticons to substitute for sarcasm when online. Although they don't provide specific intent, they offer some indication that i don't mean precisely what i'm saying.

Then again, this intent could be wildly misinterpreted by anyone not sharing my "code"

Also, i'm boring. My favorite cheese is probably Brie, with Colby Jack and Mozerella as very close followers.

I try to use sarcasm tags, although that actually means I have to remember to use them.

Oh, and I'm sort of boring in that I like Parmesan the best.
