A little bit of maturity

You ever get into a situation where you know two of your friends are about to make a mistake, and all you can do is give them advice? In the past, I would have gotten in their face and confronted them straight up about it.

But now I've matured a little, at least to the point where I know it's better for me to let other people make mistakes. How will they ever learn otherwise?

Anyone else experience this realization?

It makes me think about my parents and the decisions that I've made.

I do that quite frequently now. As I get older, I am able to appreciate the sacrifices they made even more, and want to smack myself for being such an idiot at times.
